Cancer ‘cure’ drives are ripoffs

First of all let me say I am a breast cancer survivor. [My husband] Mr. Saul has cancer of the colon; so far no cure for him.

Each and every year when the March for the Cure happens I become irate. It bothers me so deeply that all those women who raise money for the cure are so uninformed that they don’t understand all they are doing is marching to make money for the drug companies, the cancer doctors and hospitals who make millions from the drugs for the “cure.”

Do you think for one minute any of that money goes to discover a “cause”? Webster defines “cure” as the following, a healing to make well, and “cause “ as thing bringing results. We need to know the cause for cancer, all cancer, so that our children and our children’s children don’t have to suffer from cancer.

So let’s march for a cause, just like TB, polio, and all the other diseases that we not only found a “cause” but a “cure.”

Wake up people, that march with all those little pink outfits only makes money for the drug companies, then when you get cancer they get to charge you thousands of dollars for the “cure” you walked and made money for. Doesn’t make any sense to this old lady.
