0The new traffic signal located at the intersection of the West Fayetteville Bypass, Phase 1, and Ga. Highway 54 will be fully activated on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m., county officials said.
Drivers should take extra precautions in this area as the public becomes familiar with the new traffic patterns.
The light has been operating in blink mode between Oct. 20 and Oct. 28, 2010. The blink mode is a requirement of the Georgia Department of Transportation and its purpose is to alert drivers of the new signal.
