Fayetteville Main Street is once again excited to give local workers, students and residents an excuse to take an extended lunch break Friday, Oct. 8 with the final Lunch on the Lawn event this year. From 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., residents and local employees are encouraged to take their lunch break to the old courthouse lawn in downtown Fayetteville. Chick-fil-A will be selling a lunch package for $5, but people can bring their own lunch as well.
Attendees will be entertained by the bluegrass stylings of The Larious Brothers. Main Street Director, Brian Wismer, is an enthusiastic supporter. “Something about that style of music (bluegrass) really connects with people, and is reminiscent of a simpler time in Fayetteville. I think we’ll see some folks come out of the woodwork for this one.”
This Friday marks the final Lunch on the Lawn event to be held this year, and is sponsored by the Chick-fil-A Fayetteville Dwarf House.
