The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will host its second annual Blessing of the Animals and Pet Fair in Fayetteville by the Gazebo on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the Blessing starting at 4 p.m.
Mother Henault, Nativity’s rector said, “This is our way of giving back to the community by providing a fun-filled day and helping to raise money for the Fayette County Humane Society.”
The event will feature pony rides, face painting, a clown, animal demonstrations and contests, food, a mini-petting zoo and much more.
All kinds of pets are welcome, but they must be on a leash, in a carrying case, or hand carried.
