Margaret Elizabeth McCarthy Krause, 84, of Bluffton, SC and widow of Edmund T. Krause, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in the Carolina House of Bluffton.
She was born in Newton, MA on May 14, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Mary Carroll McCarthy.
She was a homemaker; an avid golfer and a member of the Holy Trinity Church in Peachtree City, GA.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet (Don) Bridges of Hogansville, GA, Paula (Steve) Krause of Fayetteville, GA and Katie Dowling of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Philip McCarthy of Kingstone, RI; and grandchildren, Mark Bridges, Melissa Shinn, and Sam Krause.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Hospice of choice.
