An official with Atlanta Christian College said today that contrary to rumor, the school has not made any official decision about a location for its new campus.
Jeff Haverly, the school’s Vice President of Business and Finance, said the school hasn’t made any decision about a new location “and nothing has been ruled out either.”
At last night’s meeting of the Development Authority of Peachtree City, officials said that ACC, a private school, had decided to locate in West Point instead of Peachtree City or Newnan, the two cities that had been in the running for ACC’s campus. The school has been in East Point for more than 70 years but school officials recently decided they would relocate the main campus and sell the East Point property.
Meanwhile, Peachtree City and Newnan have both worked to lure the campus here and ACC already has opened a satellite campus in an office building in Peachtree City.
