FFUMC will offer several Financial Peace classes beginning in August

Fayetteville First United Methodist Church (FFUMC) has announced it will offer multiple courses in Financial Peace University (13-week course) in the fall of 2010. The course benefits couples/individuals of all ages — those with or without debt.

All classes will be taught at the church in downtown Fayetteville.

“Financial Peace University (FPU) is a life-changing program that teaches you to achieve your financial goals by eliminating debt, saving for the future, and giving like never before,” a spokesperson said. “More than one million families have attended FPU with amazing results. You will be challenged and motivated to make a plan for your money and change your family tree forever!”

The first course for the fall will be held Sunday, Aug. 15 to Nov. 14 (will not meet Sept. 5 – Labor Day Weekend) from 4-6 p.m. The facilitator will be Karin Shah.

The second course will be held Thursday, Aug. 19 – Nov. 11 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Facilitator will be Jack Wheeler.

The third course will be held on Wednesday evenings, Aug. 25 – Nov. 17 from 6:15-8:15 p.m. Facilitator will be Mickey Seigle.

The fourth course will be held on Thursday mornings, Aug. 26 – Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Facilitators will be Pete and Charlcie Neal.

The cost for the course, including all materials, is $100 (a discounted rate).

Once signed up, couples/individuals can retake the course without additional costs.
