BP boycott for oil spill hurts local people

I want to say that I am just as upset as everyone else about the oil spill in the Gulf. But the first point I want to make is this.

A well-known idiot is calling for a boycott of BP. How stupid can one human be?

If you boycott the local BP station, you are hurting the owner of the station. In the case here in Fayetteville, the owner is someone we all like and respect, and he has nothing to do with drilling oil. He and the people who work for him are just trying to work and make a living.

If you boycott BP, then you force a company into bankruptcy and destroy any means of getting money to clean up the mess in the Gulf.

Some of you try to use your brain. We know you voted for our community organizer, but you can still have a moment of sanity.

History seems to repeat itself: remember, someone fiddled while Rome burned, and the White House is doing the same thing while our coast and the lives of small businesses are being destroyed.

Support your local BP station. We are going to need billions to fix what BP has done.
