Mildred Colley Moore, 85, of Fayetteville, died June 7, 2010.
She was a member of the White County Historical Society. Her love for Hawaiian music was showcased in the Atlanta area by playing for the troops and a WSB radio in the early 1940s.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by husband Harold E. Moore, sister Elizabeth Bishop and brother Eugene Colley, Jr. She is survived by her sisters Mary Helen Colley Bryan of Newnan and Marjorie Colley Volmar of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service at 9:30 to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
