Mrs. Linda Montgomery of Sharpsburg announces the engagement of her daughter, Meagan Palmer Montgomery, to Briggs Cabot Coker, son of Ms. Teresa Coker of Lithia Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coker of Douglasville.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Scott Montgomery of Sharpsburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Suddaby of Union City. She is a graduate of Northgate High School and Auburn University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in aviation management. She is currently employed as a project manager with Nationwide Hospitality in Chicago, Ill.
The groom elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Mal Rowell of Douglasville and Mr. and Mrs. Bass Coker of Wauchala, Fla. He is a graduate of Lithia Springs High School and attended West Georgia College. He is currently employed in sales.
A May wedding is planned at Peachtree City United Methodist Church followed by a reception at Flat Creek Country Club.
