Terri Allison Manthey and Christopher Matthew Reeder were married at Oakhurst Farm, West Point, on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010. Pastor Miriam Beecher conducted the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Terry and Lisa Manthey of Tyrone. She is the granddaughter of Dolores Hewitt and the late Glenn M. Hewitt of Gainesville, and Lucile Manthey and the late Bernard M. Manthey of Janesville, Wisc. She is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School and Georgia State University.
The groom is the son of Nancy Reeder of Columbus, Ga., and Gene and Diane Reeder of Smiths Station, Ala. He is the grandson of Peggy Slay and the late Jack Slay of Columbus and Charlie and Alice Reeder of Smiths Station, Ala. He is a graduate of Glenwood High School in Phenix City, Ala. and serves as a corporal in the Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Bridesmaids were Andrea Williams of Moore, Okla.; Katie Manthey of Tyrone; and Beth Hutcheson of Fayetteville. Emma Whitehurst of Durham, N.C. served as the flower girl.
Groomsmen were Adam Reeder of Columbus; Gene Reeder of Smiths Station, Ala. and Taylor French of Richmond, Va. Jack Whitehurst of Durham, N.C., served as ring bearer and Ethan Williams of Moore, Okla. served as the ring bearer’s assistant.
Following a trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple now resides in Jacksonville, N.C.
