Lisa and Don Pope of Folly Beach, S.C., and Tim and Dawn Horner of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Faye Horner, to Andrew Lee Bruce, son of Barbara and Darrell Bruce, also of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Charles and Faye Smith of Newnan and Irene Horner of Montgomery, Ala. She is currently a student at Griffin Tech, pursuing a career in healthcare. She employed as salon manager of Glamorama.

The groom-elect is the grandson of C.D. (Dick) and Edna Tyree and Robert and Delores Bruce, all of Fayetteville. He is a 2004 graduate of Fayette County High and a 2009 graduate of Griffin Tech with an associate’s degree in business management. He is employed with Ace Hardware.

The wedding will be May 7, 2010, at Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, S.C.

The couple will reside in Fayetteville.
