Mrs. Mary Eva Staniszewski, 84, of Jonesboro, formerly of Bayonne, N.J., passed away on March 26, 2010.
A loving wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother, she was described by her family as brave and courageous. She loved to cook and worked in the garment industry in New Jersey and was a member of International Ladies Garment Union.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frank Staniszewski; son, Richard Staniszewski and his wife Gail of Fayetteville; grandson, Richard M. Staniszewski and his wife Heather of Atlanta; granddaughters, Amanda Staniszewski-Bushnell of Fayetteville and Kimberly Staniszewski of Atlanta; great-granddaughters, Abigail Bushnell and Anastasia Bushnell, both of Fayetteville; brothers, Paul Hilenski of Down East, MA and Stanley Hilenski of Lake Mary, FL; sister, Blanche Skrzypak of Lake Mary, FL.
A funeral mass will be said on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church with Father Michael McWhorter officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m.
