New Hope Baptist Church invites the community to its annual “Jesus in the Passover: Passover Seder Meal” this Saturday, March 27, from 5-7 p.m. in the C Building Rainbow Room. Entire families are welcome. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets are available in the lobby and at the church office Monday-Friday.
Participants will go back 2,000 years to the time of Jesus at the Last Supper and experience a traditional Passover Seder (say-der). They will see the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus symbolized in the elements of Passover. Experiencing the Lord’s Supper in it’s original context is intended to deepen one’s understanding and worship in communion.
