Lessie Mae Lovelace, Newnan, died Jan. 5, 2010. She was born April 18, 1923 in Newnan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Geneva Lovelace and was the second oldest of eight siblings. She was educated in the Coweta County school system and finished high school in Moreland. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Services were at the Roscoe Jenkins chapel with the Rev. J. T. Coleman, officiating. Interment was at Eastview Cemetery, Newnan. Survivors include siblings, Leroy Lovelace, Sarah Allen, and Rebecca Woodard, all of Atlanta; and sister-in-law, Julia Lovelace. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral home, Newnan, was in charge.
