Ned C. Boutwell

Ned C. Boutwell, 87, Fayetteville, died Dec. 1, 2009. He drove for Trailways for 22 years and was awarded the title, “Million Mile Safe Driver.” Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Hugh Pope officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Sara C. Boutwell, Fayetteville; a son, Dale and Vickie Boutwell, Statham, Ga.; a daughter, Valerie and Matthew Smarr, Dunwoody; grandchildren, Christina Smarr and William Smarr, both of Dunwoody; a sister, Eugenia “Bea” Freeman, Cantonment, Fla.; and faithful cat, “Moka”. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayettevile, was in charge.
