The Peachtree City not-for-profit thrift store, Clothes Less Traveled, is offering a chance at college scholarships to high school seniors who have volunteered at the store for at least 40 hours.

Deadline for submitting an application is April 15 and there is still time to volunteer and submit the paperwork.

While scholarship applicants must have volunteered a minimum of 40 hours at Clothes Less Traveled during their high school career, volunteer hours do not guarantee a scholarship.

Scholarships, awarded by a committee of the CLT Board of Directors, are determined by a demonstrated commitment by the applicant to voluntary community service, as well as the applicants’ academic and extracurricular achievement.

Clothes Less Traveled offers up to $32,500 annually and up to $7,500 per scholarship.

Applications can be completed online or by mail. For more information and to view the application, visit clotheslesstraveled.org. Those looking to volunteer in time to apply for a scholarship can also contact Ann Walker at Volunteer@ClothesLessTraveled.org.

The store offers flexible volunteer schedules and is open Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours on Thursday (10 a.m.-7 p.m.).
