Woolsey’s AWANA event set for tonight

Fall Gospel Meetings start tomorrow
The South Fayette church of Christ, 1348 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, Fayetteville, invites the community to its Fall Gospel Meeting titled “Zeal for God,” Thursday, Oct. 9 through Sunday, Oct. 12, with speaker Frank Walton of Saraland church of Christ in Saraland, Ala. Community Christian plans picnic
Community Christian Church, 349 Kenwood Rd, Fayetteville, will have  a picnic this Saturday, Oct. 11, from 2 -6 p.m. for anyone in the community who has supported Community Christian in any way (past or present) — missions, aluminum recycling, VBS, food for Samaritans, Toys for Tots, Linus Project, etc. The event will feature games, food, and fellowship. St. Gabriel’s Craft Fair is Oct. 18, 19
St. Gabriel Catholic Church will host its sixth annual Craft Fair on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Some of the items featured include jewelry, scarves, paintings and photographs. Door prizes will be provided by vendors and concessions will be provided by the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The church is at 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville.

Fund raiser for the Bounds family set
Eleventh Hour Call Ministries in Fayetteville will host a fund raising benefit and community-wide gathering for the Randy Bounds family which has suffered personal tragedies and financial setbacks recently. The event will be held at 383 Fayette Place in Fayetteville on Saturday, Oct. 18, beginning at 6 p.m., and will feature music, inspirational word and fellowship.
