Wednesday, October 21 – 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fayette Senior Services (FSS) – Peachtree City location at The Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail: Powerful images have the ability to shape opinions, inspire action, and leave a lasting mark on history, and that hasn’t changed much over time. During World War II, propaganda posters became some of the most influential tools for rallying support, boosting morale, and communicating critical messages. Many of these same persuasive techniques still appear in today’s advertising and political campaigns. Chris Madrid of the Commemorative Air Force Airbase Georgia takes a fascinating look at the artistry, psychology, and purpose behind these iconic posters while exploring their lasting influence on modern messaging. Discover how the visual language of the past continues to shape the way we think, feel, and respond to the world around us, offering a fresh perspective on the power of communication across generations. This program is FREE but pre-registration is required. Call 770-461-0813 or email [email protected] (include name, phone number and event title) to register.
