Mr. and Mrs. George A. Robertson of Columbia, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Maye, to Colin Matthew Barth, son of Colonel and Mrs. Frank L. Barth of Peachtree City.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Rita Eskeman Ross of Roanoke, Va. and the late Albert Eskeman and Chester Ross. She also is the granddaughter of the late Pauline Robertson and Roy Robertson, both of Covington, Va. She is a 2005 graduate of Irmo High School in South Carolina and a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in graphics communication.

The groom-elect is the grandson of retired Colonel and Mrs. Sam Barth of Kaneohe, Hawaii, and Dr. and Mrs. Dan Olson of Tempe, Ariz. He is a 2005 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of Clemson University. He has a bachelor of science degree in business management. He is a second lieutenant in the United States Army currently stationed at Ft. Knox, Ky. He will be assigned to the Third Infantry Division, Ft. Stewart, Ga., in January.

The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church in Columbia, S.C. Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Savannah.
