Hural Henderson Sr., Newnan, died Oct. 19. 2009. He was born Aug. 19, 1924 to the late Abe and Hassie Hardy Henderson. He was also preceded in death by 21 siblings. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and an ordained minister of the gospel. He was employed by the William L. Bonnell company for many years until retirement. Services were at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Sargent, with the Rev. Melvin Brittian, Eulogist. Interment was at the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Watson Henderson, whom he married in 1945; sons, Hural Henderson Jr., and John Henderson; daughters, Gloria Hill, Evelene and Walter Brown, Sherry Garrett, Sylvia Henderson, and Tammy Winters; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and one aunt. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
