Makira Walton, 9 , of Peachtree City hosted her first Alex's Lemonade Stand on Saturday, June 13. She and her cousins and a few friends raised over $700 to donate to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which is a charity focused on finding a cure for children with cancer. Makira's stand was in memory of a family friend named Althea who lost her battle with leukemia when she was only two years old.
