Did anyone else get the letter in the mail this week from the Fayette County Water System about the violation where they failed to meet the treatment requirements for disinfection byproduct removal for our drinking water?
It states they were not in compliance for the periods ending 9/30/08 and 12/31/08 and were also out of compliance for the first quarter 2009.
What gets me is that the say "we anticipate being back in compliance no sooner than DECEMBER 30, 2009????
What's up with that? Under the "What should I do section" it says there is nothing you need to do at this time. How about not drink the water?
Why hasn't there been anything in the paper about this?
