Members of the Ladies Outdoor Adventure Group from St. Andrew’s church in Peachtree City participated in a two-hour hike at Cochran Mills Park in Palmetto Sunday, Feb. 22. The group, formed in the fall of 2008, has visited the restored Dunaway Gardens in Newnan, and is planning to rent bikes at Calloway gardens to ride the trails and to view the azaleas in the spring. A hike at the Grand Canyon of Georgia also is in the works. The next adventure tentatively is planned for March 22. Anyone interested can join the group. Call 770-487-0426 for information.
