Charles "Freddy" Marchman, 59 Fayetteville, died Feb. 27, 2009 after a year-long battle with cancer. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Survivors include his children, Alisa Couch, Senoia, Michael and Michelle Marchman, Loganville, Rebecca Marchman, Buford, and Ryan Marchman, United States Army, stationed in Vicenza, Italy; grandchildren, Patrick, Brantley, Christopher, and Amber; a great-grandson, Gavin; a sister, Phyllis and Rex Mason, Fayetteville; and mother of two of his children, Laurie Marchman; two nephews; and two nieces, one being Connie Champion who was so special to him. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
