An east Fayette man was arrested Saturday after he kept his girlfriend from leaving their home during a dispute.

Sackda Thepphasone, 21, of Kyle Court, is accused of grabbing the victim’s throat after he became upset with her for going to a mall, police said.

Thepphasone also is accused of shutting a door on the victim’s arm as she tried to leave, police said.

Thepphasone is charged with false imprisonment and battery (family violence).

Kyle Court is located off County Line Road near the county limits in unincorporated east Fayette County.
