Heather Leanne James of Atlanta, formerly of Decatur, Ala. and Richard Michael Staniszewski, also of Atlanta, were married Oct. 10, 2008 at the Georgia Ballroom at the Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta. Jeff Agur of Stockbridge conducted the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Glendora James of Decatur, Ala. The groom is the son of Richard and Gail Staniszewski of Fayetteville.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Jasmine Couture Vintage inspired gown of silk organza and French Alencon lace. She wore a matching custom Couture veil with French Alencon trim and carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses, stephanotis, orchids and hydrangeas.

The matron of honor was Dr. Tanya Sommerville Miller of Washington, D.C., formerly of Decatur, Ala.

Bridesmaids were Kara Cook of Norcross, Jessica Agur of Atlanta, Nicole Sheppe of Decatur, and Charidy Vinson of Atlanta.

Flower girls were Mira Agur of Atlanta, Abigail Bushnell and Anastasia Bushnell of Fayetteville.

Best man was Jason Agur of Atlanta. Groomsmen were Daniel Clements of Atlanta, Jason Ett of Los Angeles, Calif., Michael McCormick of San Diego, Calif., and Robert Taylor of San Diego, Calif.

Ring bearer was Austin Jones of Decatur, Ala.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Imperial Ballroom at the Biltmore Hotel, Atlanta.

After a wedding trip to Fiji, the couple will reside in Atlanta.
