Dr. Harry L. Cheves Jr., Riverdale, Fayette County, died Dec. 21, 2008. Services were at Covenant Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Cheves; a son, Michael and Kim Cheves, Blue Ridge, Ga.; and grandchildren, Hailey and Tristan Cheves. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
