At the October meeting, St. Andrew’s in the Pines Episcopal Church Women (ECW) welcomed diocesan ECW vice president Dianne Burrows to assist the membership in placing the St. Andrew’s patch to the diocesan quilt started in 1995.
Women throughout the diocese handmade each of the unique squares in the 100- by 92-inch quilt.
The quilt is displayed at diocesan functions and is available for parish functions.
ECW also welcomed Julia Brewer as the new St. Andrew’s ECW president. Plans are under way for the annual ECW Fine Arts and Crafts Christmas Bazaar to be held Dec. 6 in the parish hall.
