Karen Michelle Smith and Braden Paul Holbrook were married Oct. 4, 2008 on the golf course at Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City. A reception followed in the clubhouse. The Rev. Don Smith conducted the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of W. Michael Smith and Rosemary Smith of Peachtree City.
The groom is the son of Paul and Bonnie Holbrook of Fayetteville.
Matron and maid of honor were the bride’s sisters Amy Hardman and Stacie Gay of Peachtree City. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Byars, the groom’s sister, and friends Emily Mcelwaney, Linda Heckman, Kate Carothers and Sunshine McCarl.
The groom’s two best men were his father Paul Holbrook and friend Scott Vanvelzor. Groomsmen were Cliff Byars, Shawn Hardman, Shane Gillipsie, Mark Keller and Nick Marsala.
The bride’s niece, Cailey Hardman, and the groom’s niece Caison Byars, served as flower girls and the bride’s nephews, Brett Hardman and Peyton Gay, served as the two ring bearers.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and are now at home in Atlanta.
