It was extremely disturbing to hear about Arkansas State Democratic Party Chair Bill Gwatney being shot dead yesterday at the State Democratic Party Headquarters. This sounds eerily similar to the recent Unitarian church shooting by a wacko because of the liberal leanings of that particular church.

Just what makes a person cross that line from being a rational person, part of everyday society, to becoming an irrational, unstable sociopath, killing in the name of politics or religion?

In the same vein, what is it that makes those, who walk among us in our own community, cross that same line and target others on a blog, getting them fired and/or threatening their jobs because of another bloggers religious or political views.

Denise, trax.... care to enlighten us on this destructive behavior? Why is it the "conservative" and "religious" that resort to violence and conspiring against others? I would really like to know.
