Lurline Owen Craven, 81, Newnan, died Jan. 27, 2008. She was born Nov. 21, 1926 to the late Solon Young and Sara Frances Carden Windom. She was well known through her association with The Belk Company in LaGrange. She retired as a faithful employee after many years. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David Craven and the Rev. Alton Stamey officiating. Interment was at Southview Cemetery, Moreland. Survivors include her husband Walker Lee Craven, Newnan; children, Delores O. and Ronald Glore, Tallapoosa, Ga., Harvey L. Owens, Woodland, Ala., and JoAnn and Bill Robinson, LaGrange; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brothers, J. E, and Sue Windom and Jerry and Willie Windom, all of Newnan.
