James Harold Dixon, 74, Fayetteville, died Jan. 20, 2008. He was born in Fayette County on Aug. 15, 1933. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Chapman Dixon, and parents, James H. and Louvale Williams Dixon. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Edward Lynch and the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include brothers, Raymond and Pat Dixon, Fayetteville, and Robert and Gail Dixon, Rocky Face, Ga.; and sisters, Carolyn and George Masters, and Elizabeth and David Prince, all of Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
