Irene B. Burcher, Fayetteville, died Jan. 5, 2008. She was born in Forsyth County and was a longtime member of McDonough Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. "Jack" Burcher Jr., Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Mr. Steve Kyle, the Rev. Dr. David Chancey, and the Rev. Dr. J. W. Wallis officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include a son, Charles E. and Sherry Burcher III, Fayetteville; a daughter, Judy and Steve Kyle, Atlanta; grandchildren, Jennifer Herd, Samantha Shoop, Emily Farrell, Allison Ashley, Stacey Bartleson, Cindy Conner, and Mary Margaret Kyle; and six great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
