Jean Babb Richards, 64, Fayetteville, died Nov. 25, 2007. She was born Feb. 22, 1943 in Fayette County, daughter of the late Cyril Alton and Naomi "Nummie" Lorene Walker Babb. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Babb, and a sister, Christine Turner. Graveside services were at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn, with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Orr officiating. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Wayne Richards, Fayetteville; a son, Anthony and Donna Richards, Brooks; a grandchildren, Leah Nicole Richards, Lyndsey Mae Richards, and Sarah Anne Richards; brothers, William and Joyce Babb, Fayetteville, Allen and Margie Babb, Fairburn, Merrell and Patty Babb, Ellijay; sisters, Elizabeth and Weyman Thompson, Fairburn, Helen and Dewayne Padgette, and Shirley Long, all of Fayetteville.
