I appreciate the opportunity to discuss community issues at the candidate forum this past Saturday, Oct. 13.
It looks like we had a good turn out of about 200 residents, and all of the candidates participated, except two.
It would be great to hear from some of the residents who attended to know:
- Was the forum useful?
- Did they get their questions answered?
- What do they think of the candidates now (has their opinion changed)?
I realize that a lot of effort went into the planning of this event, and I wanted to thank the League of Women's Voters, Chatt Hills Organizing Committee, and Chattahoochee Hill Country Alliance for sponsoring and organizing the event.
Regards,
Laurie Searle
District 3 Candidate
