Wimmer anniversary
Dr. David Wimmer and Audrey Young Wimmer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Feb. 9, 2007. They have been residents of Fayetteville for about 10 years.
The Wimmers attend the Lovejoy Family Church of the Nazarene in Lovejoy.
They adopted two children shortly after their marriage, Douglas Dale, a son, deceased in February 1999, and a daugher, Lana, who also resides in Fayette County.
They have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
