Tracy Lynn Lau, of Peachtree City, was recently named New Country Female Entertainer of the Year as well as Most Promising New Country Female Vocalist of the Year at the Georgia Country and Gospel Music Association (GCGMA) awards show on Nov. 11 in Dalton, Ga.
Lau is a school bus driver for Fayette County. She has a husband of 16 years, Tommy, and two children, Tommy, high school sophomore, and Courtney, a fifth grader.
Lau will now head to Pigeon Forge, Tenn. in March for the National Competition held during Country Music Week at the “Country Tonight Music Theater” sponsored by the North American Country Music Association.
