Charles Andrew (Andy) Munn of Athens graduated from the University of Georgia on August 5, 2006.

Munn, 27, formerly of Peachtree City and a 1997 graduate of McIntosh High School, received degrees in political science and international affairs.

After high school Munn was associated with the band Whippersnapper for six years. The group produced several releases on Lobster Records, a California-based independent label.

Munn entered UGA in 2003 and graduated summa cum laude three years later. He also completed an additional honors curriculum and thesis project, earning him notation as having graduated with highest honors.

He was also a Hope Scholarship recipient during his time at UGA.

Accepted to a number of law schools, Munn selected the University of Texas Law School in Austin, Texas, where he was awarded a partial scholarship and began legal studies in August 2006. UT law school is ranked among the top 20 law schools in the U.S.

Munn is the son of Lt. Col. (U.S. Army, Retired) Patrick Munn of Peachtree City, and the late Jewell Munn.
