Today there are over 40,000 kids in the United Sates and Canada living with cancer, and a foundation called “The Sunshine Kids” is helping these kids to forget about the cancer for a while and just have fun. It sponsors events that allow them to participate in healthy outdoor activities with kids just like themselves. As part of the Prudential Real Estate Affiliates network, Prudential Georgia Realty is a leading contributor to The Sunshine Kids.
Prudential Georgia Realty’s Peachtree City office is hosting a three mile walk on August 12 to benefit The Sunshine Kids. The walk will be held in Picnic Park, behind city hall in Peachtree City at 9 a.m.
If you’d like to get more information about The Sunshine Kids or the walk, call Prudential Georgia Realty at 770-487-8300. You can also visit The Sunshine Kids Web site at www.sunsinekids.org. Donations can be brought to the walk site or mailed to Prudential Georgia Realty, 246 City Circle, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
