I deeply love America and Americans. That is to say if loving America means that you love all people, because America is truly the melting pot of the world.

My roots came from the Scottish evangelist John Knox. They then got connected with the Herndons in the 1700s and started Herndon, Va., which is near our nation's capital.

With some people, it really doesn't matter to them who sits in the White House because they feel it will just about all be the same due to our democratic process of checks and balances. They think it will be just "the same old brand" and "business as usual." They may or may not even vote, thinking that they don't really matter in the big picture.

I have been a student of history all my life and have even made history on occasion with a very fine bunch of soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division in the liberation of the tiny island of Grenada back in 1983. It matters greatly to me on which side of history America lands.

In fact, I take very seriously God's Word as He speaks to us in stating, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, turn form their wicked ways, pray and seek my face, then will I hear from Heaven and heal their land." It matters greatly where you stand and how you vote.

This is especially true if you are of the "faith in Christ" group and are called "His sheep." If we are of His fold, then we are to act as part of His fold. This is one of our major missions of why we were put here in the first place.

We all know that God is certainly not a Democrat or a Republican but He is extremely serious about your actions and mine. We are to apply all the thousands of sermons we have all heard over the years, and as Dr. Laura says, "Now go do the right thing."

Now for my soap box. I strongly feel that if John Kerry is elected you can surely expect the following things to take place early on after he sits in the oval office. I will list them as I expect to see them. I may not have them in order but after studying the liberal left for many years, here are the main points.

- Unlimited abortion.

- Old welfare returning.

- Gay agenda shoved down our throats (no pun intended).

- Our troops under the U.N.

- Offshore business with no restrictions to support his wife's worldwide businesses.

- Glasses being clicked in the terror capitals of the world because of his soft "give the inspectors another chance approach" for the laughable umpteenth time.

- Kerry and Hanoi Jane venerated and elevated.

- Draft returning, because no real soldier will serve under a commander-in-chief that deep inside hates them and deplores what they do for a living.

- Elevation of Ted Kennedy and all those in the extreme left.

- Feminism running rampant.

- Tree huggers elevated. "Save the whales and flush the babies!"

- Supreme Court packed with the liberal left.

- ACLU elevated.

- Abortion factories to support unlimited stem cell research on demand.

- The quickened collapse of Iraq.

- No drilling in the millions of acres of wasteland in Alaska's Arctic tundra (I know, I used to live there). Millions spent on environmentalist study of the "endangered Caribou?" They walked up to the pipeline, sniffed it, and walked right past it as they had any other thing in their "migration path" since the beginning of time.

- Environmentalism over human beings.

- Conservative evangelical Christianity harassed by his administration.

- Unreasonable gun control and eventual confiscation (like Canada, Australia, & South Africa, where crime has increased considerably since gun confiscations).

- Homeland security in the hands of the Liberal Left.

Each item I have listed falls into the liberal Kerry camp. It is beyond me to hear Americans say, "Well, both candidates are about the same." Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Go ahead and send me your e-mails; I enjoy fighting for my country! When you do, expect to hear truth and not CBS or CNN from me. I will make my closing argument in saying if John Kerry is elected, you better enjoy these next few days before the election because America as we know it today will be changed forever and, in my estimation, all down the tubes.

God bless those who have fought to keep it free and will vote for anyone but Kerry!
