With two minutes remaining in the game, PTC scored again and the race with the clock was on.PTC scored what would have been the tying goal but the clock had expired a second earlier.Their record now moves to 9-1, as they remain atop the league standings with two tough games on the road to decide the championship.

"The kids battled back in the second half in a big way and impressed me with their effort and unwillingness to give up a loss." commented Head Coach Mike Muetzel.

"Being undefeated is a tough accomplishment, and the kids were really devastated, but winning the Championship is our ultimate goal. In this week's practice the team is more dedicated and focused than we have seen them all season. We are all looking forward to a big game tomorrow."

In a ceremony before the game the Fayette County Lacrosse Association and Commissioner Ken Griffin recognized the seniors and their parents from this year's team. Seniors included: John Gatell, RD Reid, Danny Cushing, Gib Herron, Michael Kwan, Trevor McCarl, Adam Boulet, Thomas Beck, Mark Nichols, and Brian McDonald. The team faces Woodstock for the second time tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Woodstock High School in a tough rematch of last year's tournament championship game.
