Reyes of Dover is charged with impersonating a police officer and giving
a false name to a police officer, according to court documents.
Reyes identified
himself as a police officer at Delaware State University after he was
pulled over for speeding near the intersection of Ga. Highway 85 and Kenwood
Road.
A subsequent
check of Reyes' claim indicated he is not a certified law enforcement
officer in the state of Delaware, according to police.
