evaluated for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. Boys, ages

8-19 and Girls, ages 10-19, can apply. There are camps located all over

the country. Former participants include Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan, Jerry

Stackhouse and Antawn Jamison. Players are selected by invitation only

and college scholarships are possible for players named to the All-American

is still accepting registrations for the Under 12 rec teams as well as

11458 of Fayetteville will sponsor "basketball free throw competition

for boys and girls 10-14 at Fayetteville Primary Schools gymnasium Jan.

* The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville

is sponsoring Sports Speed Training on Tuesday evenings in January and

February to be held at the indoor centre. There will be eight sessions

at a cost of $8 per session or $50 for the entire series. There will be

two sessions per day; 5:30-6:30 p.m. for 8-11 year olds and 6:30-7:30

p.m. for 12-14 year olds. The sessions will be limited to 25 players each.

The training will be supervised by Wylie J. Lilly, a graduate of Virginia

Soccer Association announces Spring 2001 soccer registration sessions

for new and returning players on Tuesday, January 16 from 6 to 9 p.m.

and Saturday, January 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Peachtree City Library.

* The Spring 2001 season of

Peachtree City Roller Hockey will begin on march 24. registration will

be held on Jan. 13 at the Kedron Field House from 9 a.m. to noon. The

league is open to children ages 7 to 15 and will cost $90. A copy of the

birth certificate will be required at regsitration. The league is split
