Yes, my spouse and I were two
people moving into this great community, but we bought an existing home
occupied by three people, thereby reducing the number of residents here.
(The former owners moved out of the county.) We used to enjoy the drive
to and from home along Hwy. 74 to Interstate 85 and now it is not a drive,
it is a traffic jam.
None of us will be living in
the community we came here to enjoy if this growth is not stopped. It
is already not what we wanted. I can only imagine the frustration of the
citizens who have lived here for 15 or 20 years. I do not believe the
city council is voting the voice of the people and I hope the citizens
remember this the next time elections come up.
