The Joseph
Sams School, previously known as The Early Years, was started in 1984
with disabilities. Today it is the only privately operated, nonprofit,
fully accredited school of its kind serving children ages 2 through 15
in the metro Atlanta area.
The Community
Foundation for Greater Atlanta was founded in 1951 and educates donors
and their families on critical issues facing the region, and connects
them with nonprofit organizations that match their interests. With more
than $300 million in assets, the foundation is one of the largest community
foundations in the nation.
