Lovejoy's Doug

Stevens took the lead for his sixth win of the season in the Pro and Semi

Pro Masters race with five laps remaining when he passed Peachtree City's

Read Sorenson who finished a close second to Sevens. Third place went

to Shane Upchurch with Walt Brannen and Johnny East rounding out the top

five.

A scary moment

happened on the first lap when Newnan's Oliver Gentry went air-born and

went into the outside retaining wall head-first. The crowd looked on in

horror for all of five minutes until Gentry emerged from the car assisted

in both legs as a result of the impact with the wall.

Senoia's Scott

Tinsley showed why he is the Chargers points leader as he led all 20 laps

in the feature for his seventh win of the season. Second place went to

pole starter Cindy Anderson with Bobby East in third. Fourth place went

to Bubba Pollard with Michelle Theriault in fifth.

Adam Aldredge

led from the drop of the green flag to the checkers in the Bandoleros

race for his first win of the 2000 season at Senoia Speedway. In second

was Dale Akridge followed by Adam Clay in third with Brian Sharp and Tyler

Pritchard in fourth and fifth. An unfortunate turn of events happened

in the heat race wrecking Matthew Peeples, who has consistently finished

in second place for the last four weeks in racing at Senoia Speedway.
