Johnson was

also recently inducted into Alpha Chi Honor Society for

outstanding achievement. membership in Alpha Chi is one

of the highest academic honors which may be bestowed upon

a student at VSU.

She is a

1997 honor graduate of McIntosh High School and currently

attends Valdosta State University majoring in early

childhood education. She is a member of Alpha lambda

Delta Honorary Fraternity and the Dean's list.

Randall L. Peters ,

president of Heart of GeorgiaTechnical Institute, is

pleased to recognize and congratulate Kevin Watkiss

of Fayettevillefor being named to the President's List

for spring quarter. A student must earn a 3.64 or higher

grade point average for the quarter.

Jennifer Johansons ,

Fayetteville, has been awarded the Rebecca Yates Riley

Scholarship award from the Gordon College Foundation to

attend the two-year college in Barnesville. Johansons is

a graduate of Fayette County high School and is the

daughter of Linda and Juris Johansons.

Geoffrey George Paul was

awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude at

Bowdoin College during its 195 Commencement Exercises.

Paul, a history major, is a graduate of Fayette County

High School.

Michael J. Lee of

Peachtree City, a student in the School of Natural

Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Alabama at

Birmingham (UAB), was named tothe Dean's list for the

spring 2000 term.
