The park has plenty to

offer fun-lovers. There are three miniature golf courses,

bumper boats, bumper cars, batting cages, and the ever

popular Laser Duel maze. For the younger children, the

Playmaze and go-karts will entertain for hours.

Inside the facility are

rows of arcade games - most will be available for

playing during the event at no additional charge.

The park will open early

Saturday, June 17 for the Heart Association. Tickets

allow those enjoying the event to ride and play from 9

a.m. to noon. At noon, lunch will be served on the new

pavilion on the lake. The health fair and silent auction

will be open from 9 a.m. to noon.

FayetteCounty.org, one of

the event sponsors, is giving away two tickets to one

lucky winner at its web site, www.FayetteCounty.org .

Tickets also may be ordered through the web site.

Current sponsors of the

fund-raiser to help in the fight against Fayette County's

number one killer, heart disease, include Braelinn

Kroger, Carl Davis, Occumed Medical Management, Harold

Bost, GTO's Fabulous Fifties Drive-In Restaurant,

DixieLand Fun Park, Cooper Lighting, Kwik Kopy Printing

and the Respess Family. Sponsorships are still available

for donations of $200 or more.

Sponsors receive two

tickets, may display their company banners inside the

park or on the fence facing Ga. Highway 85, may set up a

display table in the park during the event, and may place

their company information or promotional items inside

goody bags to be distributed to the first 500 attendees.

Sponsors also will be listed on flyers, posters and in

all other promotional material as space permits.

For information on

sponsorship, phone Janet McGregor, 770-631-9503 or

[email protected]. Tickets are $20 advance sales, $25 on

the day of the event (until 11 a.m.).
