Get the

picnic baskets, coolers and blankets ready - the

Webb, Stuckey and Lindsey Summer Concert Series at the

Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater is returning with the

likes of the Righteous Brothers and Kansas.

The lineup

for the first half of the series was released last Friday

and will provide a wide range of musical variety in the

coming months.

The first

band to play will be the hometown favorites, Kansas,

April 21 and 22. The group is best known for rock hits

like "Dust in the Wind," "Carry On My

Wayward Son," and "Point of No Return."

Several members of the band live around Peachtree City.

Don McLean

will take the stage May 5-6. Best known for his tribute

to the rock and roll era, "American Pie,"

McLean also has recorded many other hits, including

"Vincent (Starry Night)," "Castles in the

Air," and "Crying." McLean has experienced

a surge of popularity with the recent remake of

"American Pie" by Madonna.

The third

act to play the summer concert series will make the `60s

come alive again. The Fifth Dimension will perform May

19-20, brandishing mega-hits "Aquarius/Let the

Sunshine In," "Up, Up and Away," and

"Stoned Soul Picnic." The group includes three

of the original, founding members: Florence LaRue, Lamont

McLemore and Ron Townson.

The fourth

show of the series is quite possibly the biggest, and

quite likely the biggest act the amphitheater has ever

had. June 2-3 The Righteous Brothers will bring their

long list of hits and soulful voices to Peachtree City.

Among their many hits are "Unchained Melody,"

"You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling," and

"Rock and Roll Heaven."

Closing out

the first half of the summer concert series will be

songstress Helen Reddy. The Australian-born singer boasts

six top 10 hits, including "I Am Woman,"

"Angie Baby," and "Delta Dawn." She

will perform June 16-17.

The acts

that will play the second half of the summer concert

series will be announced in May.

Series

tickets will go on sale Monday, March 20 at 9 a.m.

Tickets in the reserved seating area or on the lawn are

$85 for the five-concert package. Reserved seats in the

Gold Circle (Friday nights only) are $90. Picnic tables

and gold tables are available on a limited basis. All

tables seat six people. Call for availability.

Individual

tickets for the series will go on sale April 11. Tickets

will be $25 for all shows, except the Righteous Brothers,

which will be $35. For information, phone the

amphitheater offices at 770-631-0630.
